Gray’s Court is a stunning venue to hold your wedding in York. I shot two weddings there last year – Emma and David’s autumn wedding (see their wedding here) and Sarah and Ally’s gorgeous summer wedding.
Why am I telling you about Gray’s Court? Well, I am going to be exhibiting my wedding photography at a stand at their wedding fayre on Sunday 27th February. I’m hoping to meet some new Yorkshire brides, see some of my own brides and catch up on all their planning, and have a good old chat with some of my friends in the York wedding business. I know my buddies from Superior Motor Cars will be there : )
So… I’m busy planning to transport ‘my look’ to the beautiful Gray’s Court – it’s going to be all vintage union jacks , scrapbooks, old suitcases, jugs full of pretty flowers and oh yeah .. some pretty pictures too!! More importantly I will be bringing with me the stories of those pretty pictures and how they made a difference to people.
I’d love to hear how you are planning your wedding – because I bet you dont realise it yet – but your story has started already hasn’t it?
I thought I would post a few images of Sarah and Ally’s wedding at Gray’s Court because it was really beautiful. They made the most of the stunning wood panelled walls in the long gallery at Gray’s Court. Sarah chose a dark blue theme for her wedding. Blue organza ribbons, blue spotty stationery and cake decoration. The tables were stunning- and original – Sarah and Ally are teachers and the table place names were heart shaped blackboards. Guest blackboards were passed around for friends to be photographed with and leave their own personal messages to the couple.
