Richelle and Jon had the most beautiful wedding on Saturday held at the priory church of St Mary and St Cuthberts, Bolton Abbey and their reception just nearby at the Cavendish Pavilion. Jon and Richelle booked me quite a while ago but we got together recently at Richelle’s mum Audrey’s house to chat through all the plans for the day. I knew the detail of the wedding was going to be gorgeous there and then. The colours, fabrics and textures they used were so beautiful and so stylishy subtle.

Amelia, Richelle’s neice was a flowergirl – here she is checking out how beautiful she looks in a mirror on the landing!
Richelle has the most amazing eyes.
Amelia helping – holding the dress!
The church ceremony at Bolton Abbey church was lovely – the vicar who was kind enough to allow me to subtly take some daylight pictures gave a great sermon about rings being an unending band and how this symolises unending love. Here is quiet private moment between the couple during the ceremony.
The abbey ruins are a wonderful place for wedding photography – even though its always extremely windy there through all the seasons!!
More from this wedding to follow over the next few days …
