It was lovely to spend some time with my shiny happy friends at PapaKata yesterday . Their open day looked to be a huge success with the tee pee’s looking splendid in the autumn sunshine. Their teepee’s were decorated with different themed tables to give brides lots of inspiration for their own wedding day. I loved the one with antique style pinky green roses and vintage china – it had luggage labels for the names on the place settings. I Do Designer Weddings the wedding planning company designed a fun seaside theme table but my favourite is always the country style table with the eclectic mix of vases and jam jars filled with english meadow flowers.

The tee pees’ were pitched at one of the most gorgeous venues in York –  Escrick Park Estate with its wide open spaces. I remember just taking in the view as I was leaving and the fresh air, the view and the animals grazing gave me such a feeling of calm and contentment! The picture below is a flyer I made for Escrick Park Estate and PapaKata using the images from Beth  and Marks wedding held there last year.

Also, check out my brand new PapaKata wedding sample album for my own studio (images below). The photographs are  all bound in a lovely mocha vintage leather cover and I’m sure it’s going to be popular with my couples for the 2011 wedding season. If you would like to come and see this brand new sample album at my studio in Bishopthorpe or any of my other wedding display albums then be in touch for a chat all things wedding : )  01904 777323
