Katie and Al’s wedding was just perfect. I loved everything. A beautiful church – St Helen’s at Escrick and the the perfect location for their PapaKata teepee reception at Escrick Park Estate near York. I loved the subtle colour of the bridesmaids dresses with the pretty pinks and creams of the flowers. The flowergirls carried sweet palest pink posies of babies breath. The bride and bridesmaids carried bouquets of cream and purple anemones and cappucino and palest pink roses. Just gorgeous.

The colours looked beautful when set against the lovely warm shade of the teepee’s, as did Al’s uniform. V. romantic!

Katie and Al played scrabble on their first date, so scrabble themed things were to be found on the tables and by the bar inside. Place names were made from scrabble letters. Katie glued magnets on to all the letters so guests could take them home for their fridges. Such a lovely idea!
