It’s not every day that I am asked to photograph in the heart of the Yorkshire dales, so Becky and Graham’s wedding was very special. The ancient church of Arncliffe was where I shot a lot of the wedding pictures because the scenery was just so beautiful. Set next to a bubbling river, the church sits behind a pretty lych gate and moss covered dry stone walls. Becky’s grandparents live next door and the church has a very special connection and significance to the family.
I loved the old vintage wedding car supplied by Cupid Carriages and photographed it on its journey around the village from The Falcon pub to the church.
It was a showery day and one of my favourite images has to be the one below where Becky and her Grandad are sheltering in the church porch from the rain, having lovely a lovely chat.
