This year, chatting to many of my lovely customers about their amazing honeymoons, I had an idea which I thought could be a bit of fun – a honeymoon picture competition! Fun for me because I just love looking at other people’s images – seeing their ‘take’ on things, fun for my 2011 couples who read this blog and I’m sure fun for all you peeps who are still looking for a wedding photographer and are reading this (call me!!! ; )

So… for the next few weeks from a snowy and cold Yorkshire I will be  featuring some gorgeous sunny honeymoon photographs from around the world from my 2010 wedding couples,  and at the beginning of next year judge all the entries and give away a lovely big magnum of veuve clicquot to the winner.

I hope that these honeymoon photographs will inspire those of you who haven’t yet booked your honeymoon.

Today’s honeymoon image is from the ever gorgeous Sophie and Nick whose wedding photography I shot in August this year at Rudding Park, Harrogate. See HERE for their wedding.

I will let Sophie tell you the story of the image in her own words:

Elsa lives in a wonderful elephant santuary in Bali she was rescued from a lifetime of lifting concrete slabs on building sites to live in this park. Elsa and the other elephants that live in this park are well looked after and love to interact with humans and they enjoy showing off with tricks they can do! They even create there own paintings!

We had a ride around the park on Elsa she was quite cheeky but very friendly! We loved her…

Thanks Sophie and Nick for sharing this with us.  Comments welcome everyone as always    A x
