So as promised here is a show with some of my favourite wedding images from last year. What an amazing year!! I have shot wedding pictures with a ferrari, a wedding party on the York Sightseeing bus, I have been to Ripon, Wales and the Ilkley Moor by the cow and calf. April saw me winning the British Institute of Professional Photography trophy for Yorkshire Avant Garde Wedding Photographer of the Year.
I continue to visit all my favourite venues – Hazlewood Castle (my neighbours) between Leeds and York, Wood Hall, The Parsonage, York, Oulton Hall, Leeds, Ripley Castle, the ever stylish Hotel du Vin and historic St Williams College.
The Hospitium in The Museum Gardens, York had a wonderful refurbishment and I have had several beautiful weddings there and enjoy it very much.
The top of the range book bound wedding albums I began using in 2007 have continued to be very popular with most bride and grooms opting for the flush mounted modern magazine style layouts
This year I hope to develop the storybook style of these fine art wedding albums. I will be offering ‘carbon copy’ companion books which I am really excited about.
